About Us

Vertical Reality is an exciting climbing gym with over 150 climbing routes and boulder problems on 7500 square feet of wall and over 650 square feet of climbable roof. The gym's design offers something for everyone, regardless of age or skill level. For kids we have lots of drop-in times, youth courses, and an ongoing Youth Program. Our Youth Program is suitable for ages 7 and up. Participants are taught belay skills, climbing techniques, and training methods appropriate for that age group. Participants are allowed to climb with and belay each other, under close supervision. For inexperienced adults and teens we offer Climb Time drop-in sessions and our Introduction to Climbing course. Experienced rock climbers will enjoy our extensive bouldering and routes ranging from 5.7 to 5.13. Take our Advanced Belay Course to get into lead climbing, or a Technique Class to improve your climbing skills. Most of our walls are lead equipped with quickdraws and dynamic ropes.

Vertical Reality is the Lower Mainland's only air conditioned climbing facility, so we're comfortable year round!

Vertical Reality also offers a variety of different group and birthday party options. Call us well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Our Birthday Party Package consists of 1.5 hours of climbing, followed by an hour in our comfortable party area. The party package includes food from Pizza Hut or Subway, and a cake from Dairy Queen or Safeway.
